We are right smack in the middle of summer.
It’s a great time to take a break and declare “HALFTIME.”
If you want the second half of your year to improve upon the first half, take a moment to consider, what are you going to change?
Tomorrow, July 18, I’m launching a new meditation series that focuses on taking just a few minutes everyday to get your mind right…
…shift your attention away from stress and worry…
…and toward the good stuff: truth, beauty, balance, harmony.
This program is designed for people who are BUSY, and need something FAST and ACCESSIBLE.
You don’t need to get on a plane or even get in your car to do this.
It’s just setting aside a few minutes each day to pause, relax, and listen.
This new series is called “Please God. Wake Me Up”
I don’t use the word “God” lightly.
But the level of distraction each day is so overpowering…you have to dig really deep to overcome it and restore your peace of mind.
There are a TON of meditation and mindfulness programs out there. But most of them were recorded months or years in the past.
My meditation programs are unique in that you receive a brand new meditation that I create for you every single day.
If you enjoy my blog and books, you’ll hear from me each daywith a new story, a new message, new inspiration to help you find a few minutes to close your eyes and get in the zone.
Speaking of the zone, check out the above video of a track race where the lady came from not just last place, but the “depths of hell…”
…to a THRILLING VICTORY.
I found it to be so exciting and a reminder of what it looks like to turn the corner with momentum, strength, and the desire to make the second half better than the first!
REVIEWS ON MY PREVIOUS MEDITATION PROGRAM
If you are considering and wondering if this is right for you, here are some reviews from my previous meditation program, Into the Wild:
“These meditations were the highlight of my day. They allowed me to relax and reflect and constantly reminded me of what’s really important. This program always delivered the right message at the right time. Thank you for showing me how to make meditation an integral part of my day and my life! I’m much more balanced and relaxed now and looking forward to more classes in the future.”
Sandra, Dallas, Texas
“I so looked forward to opening my email everyday to receive my daily INTO THE WILD meditation—it’s fun—you never know what you’re going to learn or be inspired by that day. And yes, admittedly, some times I listened to the meditations to help drift me off to sleep. The one meditation that really stuck with me is centered around UNCERTAINTY. That word in and of itself scares/d me, however now having listened to that meditation over and over again and sharing it with friends and patients has helped me realize that I’m not alone. The fact is, UNCERTAINTY can actually be a pretty refreshing, cool, liberating concept that doesn’t always need to be so scary. I found for me it’s about changing the “mental story” and/or “negative stigma” associated with the word UNCERTAINTY. I’m not there yet, but am working on embracing the beauty, maybe even mystery/excitement of UNCERTAINTY in my life. Throughout his meditation series, Dave has blessed me with the opportunity to look at “the world,” specifically “my world” in new/ways!”
Margie, Cleveland, Ohio
“I loved starting my day with these meditations. Afterwards I walked to the bus stop hearing birdsongs, looking at the trees & flowers & weeds in the cracks of the sidewalk – all the nature on my block in Washington DC. Without pulling out my phone & diving into email & news, I was filled with a feeling of gratitude, seeing nature’s abundance which I am truly grateful for!”
Bryan, Washington DC
“The meditation series- always wonderful- have gotten better each series. The way you Dave says things, the story-telling, his voice, the references and experiences that he cites, and the subject matter each day… I don’t know how he keep every day so fresh and so relevant!”
Lisa, Houston, Texas
“I really appreciate the fact that Dave willingly takes on the role of guide while at the same time seeing himself as a learner. I love the many references to authors, poets, thinkers who have shared their work as well as stories of those who may not have a voice on the page or the stage but nevertheless have powerful messages to communicate.”
Shannon, Seattle, Wash
“This experience has taught me to slow down and let life “come to me.” Learning how to live each day with greater self-awareness, gratitude, love, peace and compassion feels fantastic.”
